SYRACUSE, NY (WSVN) — Two teenage girls have been arrested after a video went viral depicting them attacking a 62-year-old man who was using a walking cane in front of his home in Syracuse, New York.

According to FOX 61, a man told police he was assaulted on Oct. 19 after asking a group of teens who were sitting on his front lawn to leave his property.

After he ordered them to leave, one of the girls punched him twice in the head. When he tried to run after her, a second girl spun him around as other teens laughed, one of who was recording the entire incident with a cellphone.

The victim then attempted to chase after them, but ultimately stumbled and fell face-first onto the pavement, with his cane sliding away from him.

The video was then posted on Facebook, and has since been viewed over one million times.
