(CNN) — Roughly 100,000 pounds of raw ground chicken patty products, mostly sold at Trader Joe’s, are being recalled.

The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a press release that the affected ground chicken might be “contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of bone.”

The Trader Joe’s items affected are two frozen chicken products: Chile Lime Chicken Burgers and Spinach Feta Chicken Sliders.

The USDA said the problem was discovered by the manufacturer, Washington-based Innovation Solutions, after “consumer complaints reporting findings of bone in the chicken burger product.”

Consumers who have these items in the freezer can check the packages to see if they are included in the recall. The affected Chile Lime Chicken Burgers have the lot codes 2281, 2291, 2311, 2351, 2361, 2371, 2441, 2511, 2521, 2531, 2561, 2591, 2601, 2671 and 2721. The Spinach Feta Chicken Sliders being recalled are 9-pound bulk packs containing 72 pieces, with lot codes 2361 and 2631.

Customers are encouraged to throw away the recalled products or return them at the store. Both products were sold nationwide and produced between August 16 and September 29.

The USDA said there have been “no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.”

Trader Joe’s didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
