MIAMI (WSVN) — Historic change continued Monday, as the United States and Cuba resumed talks on immigration.
Officials gathered at the U.S. Department of State to discuss ways to implement safe and legal migration of Cubans to the U.S. The issue was originally scheduled to be discussed in July but was delayed due to the reopening of U.S. and Cuban embassies over the summer.
This is the latest development in a series of actions to normalize relations between the countries.
