MIAMI (WSVN) — 7’s Chris Van Vliet intended to interview Leslie Mann and Dakota Johnson on their upcoming movie, but instead, the two stars interviewed him!
It all started when Mann and Johnson were invited to discuss their new film, "How To Be Single," which premieres Feb. 12 in theaters. Before Van Vliet could even ask a question, it seemed the movie’s theme inspired the actresses to do a little interview of their own.
The actresses decided to focus the whole interview on one thing: Chris. "Are you single?" asked Mann. "You’re handsome. You have cute socks."
Mann even went so far as to introduce Van Vliet to the crew who were on set of the interview. Once he revealed he lived in Miami, though, Mann and the crew sighed, "Oh, forget it, he lives in Miami." Mann later hopefully proclaimed, "But he can move!"
And it didn’t end there.
Mann and Johnson then focused the interview on Van Vliet’s physique, even asking him to reveal some skin. Van Vliet modestly turned down their requests and said, "I just wear small clothes, so it looks like I’m in better shape."
But the actresses didn’t buy it. "I don’t think so," said Mann. "Can you take off your shirt? All of them." He ended up unbuttoning his shirt.
Finally, Van Vliet got to the heart of the interview, but even then, the actresses wouldn’t let it go, and continued to direct the interview. When he asked for their opinion on a pick-up line, they both chimed, "No that was terrible. Don’t ever do that."
While the interview didn’t reveal any movie spoilers, it did teach Van Vliet a lesson on flirting.
