MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida teen will not be charged for shooting and killing a man who attempted to steal his personal watercraft.
The incident occurred in Miami Shores back in May 2011.
According to prosecutors, the watercraft’s owner reasonably feared for his life and believed Reynaldo Munoz had a gun.
Munoz was not carrying a gun, but he was waving around a large black key used to start the watercraft during the crime.
Twenty-year-old Munoz died.
