A strong line of thunderstorms brought nasty weather to South Florida Thursday afternoon! This prompted a Tornado Watch for all of South Florida, a Tornado Warning for Palm Beach Co. as well as Inland Broward Co., and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning from the Upper Keys to Broward Co., which were all allowed to expire before 6pm.
Ominous clouds and muggy air will stick around Thursday night with light to moderate rainfall throughout South Florida as a strong cold front pushes east through the sunshine state.

We could see linger showers Friday morning before the front clears out by the afternoon. On the backside of the front, expect mostly clear skies, temps dropping to the low 60s by midnight and a strong breeze to wrap our Friday.

As we get the weekend started, overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 50s with daytime highs in the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies for a sunny Saturday.
