HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) — The Senate passed a bill to re-name John U. Llyod State Park, Monday.
The park will now be named Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park.
Mizell was Fort Lauderdale’s first black doctor and Eula Johnson the county’s first NAACP president.
