MIRAMAR, Fla. (WSVN) — The southbound lanes of Interstate 75, just north of Miramar Parkway were closed for hours while officials responded to a car accident.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and fire rescue responded to the scene, around 6 p.m. Thursday, where a car could be seen with it’s driver’s side crushed. The car also appeared to have struck nearby construction equipment.
Traffic heading southbound was being directed to the Miramar Parkway exit by Miramar Police. Northbound lanes were moving, but there were on-looker delays. Two lanes were later opened and congestion later cleared up.
Two vehicles were involved with the collision, however, only one driver was trauma alerted to an area hospital in unknown condition.
