FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) — Jury selection got underway in Broward County in the trial of a teacher accused of inappropriately touching a 4-year-old girl at a day care center.
The civil case was brought by the victim’s family after she said her teacher, Olakunle Omomowo, inappropriately touched her during music class.
The lawsuit against Bright Horizons Family Solutions, the largest operator of child care centers in the world, claims the company fabricated Omomowo’s employment reference checks and failed to investigate similar claims by other children involving him.
