MONTREAL (WSVN) — A snowy owl was captured on traffic cameras soaring through the sky in Montreal, Quebec.
The photos were taken along Montreal’s Highway 40 and Sources Boulevard on Jan. 3., according to the CBC.
Robert Poet, a Quebec transport minister, posted the photos on Twitter where it was shared almost 2,000 times.

The full video was later released and posted on YouTube:
"I think they are attracted specifically to the highway because it has open, grassy fields nearby which is perfect for hunting their favourite prey, which is small rodents," Barbara Frei, the director of the McGill Bird Observatory told the CBC.
Frei believes the owl may have been looking for a place to perch.
