WEST CONCORD, Mass. (WSVN) — One family shared a snow day moment with their pet dog, then shared it with the world after catching it on camera.

The snowstorms that hit northeastern states this week did not stop a Goldendoodle named Wally from prancing in snow piles. A slow-motion video of the dog playing that his owners, James Smith and Alex Todd, posted on social media sites got more than 2.5 million hits. “It’s unbelievable. I can’t even put words to it,” Todd said.

Smith said he walks Wally daily, but the snow was especially entertaining for Wally as his owner recorded the fun. “It’s kind of amazing. Took him out here like we do every day. Let him jump around in the snow and happened to run a camera on it, and he loved it, and apparently a lot of other people do, too,” he said.

Wally’s owners sent the video to 7News, and viewer comments poured in. “What a champ. Love his flying ear muffs,” one person wrote.

Another person commented, “His ears look like windshield wipers.”

Wally even received congratulations. “It’s like swimming against waves. Well done, Wally,” wrote a viewer.

Smith and Todd said this is Wally’s second winter. They said they have raised Wally like a kid and even joked about his instant Internet fame. “He’s like our child, really. Our baby Walter White has gone big time. We just hope he remembers us when he goes out to Hollywood and becomes big and famous,” Todd said.
