WSVN — Makeover maestro Martin Amado shows us a trick for keeping up with those cover screws while painting.

Martin Amado: "Hi guys! I’m Martin Amado. Thanks for joining me in our Online Extra. One of the things you need to do to paint a room is remove all the electrical covers, but when it comes time to put them back on, you realize you lost a screw. Well, here’s an easy tip to help you avoid that."

Martin Amado: "The trick is, once you remove the cover, put the screw back in the outlet."

Martin Amado: "That way, it’s easy to find when it comes time to re-install it."

Martin Amado: "It’s so easy, but I promise you this step can save you a lot of headaches. Until next time, I’m Martin Amado, and I’ll see you next time on Room for Improvement."
