The nice weather continues across south Florida.  We’re back to enjoying seasonal temperatures while humidity values remain in check.  The quiet weather is due to high pressure that lingers over the region.  The high is currently centered east of Florida and north of the Bahama islands.  In time, it will slowly drift away … but not before providing us with some more pleasant weather.    Subtle changes will arrive during the middle of the week, including more cloud cover and rising temperatures.  Then,  as more moisture gathers during the late part of the week, we could see the return of rain with possible storms.  The long range forecast map shows a cold front approaching Florida from the north and west.  At this point, it doesn’t appear as though the boundary will have the necessary push to impact south Florida.   Therefore, a hot and steamy weekend appears to be around the corner.
