WASHINGTON D.C. (WSVN) — Donald Trump has won enough electoral votes to win the 2016 presidential election.

Trump won more than the 270 necessary electoral votes to beat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, early Wednesday morning.

However, earlier that night, Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta addressed the crowd at her watch party and told them to go home. He said the campaign would not be making any statement. Later, news broke that Clinton called Trump to concede.

Trump would be scheduled to be inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2017.
