FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine made a South Florida stop.
Hillary Clinton’s running mate was in town to raise campaign money and reach out to black voters. He stopped by Betty’s Soulfood Restaurant on Sistrunk Boulevard, the main street in a historically black business district of Fort Lauderdale.
Kaine also visited the home of Fort Lauderdale attorneys Mitchell and Sharon Berger. The couple has previously raised money for U.S. Senate candidates.
