MIAMI (WSVN) — A dangerous drive led to a police-involved collision, sending two officers, one driver and four passengers to a hospital in Miami.

Two Miami Police officers in a cruiser, as well as five others who were in a white Camaro, were injured when their vehicles collided along Northwest First Avenue and Sixth Street in Miami, Thursday night. 

Police believe the marked police unit may have been heading north on First Avenue, while the Camaro was heading west on Sixth Street. Somehow, the two vehicles collided. 

The two officers, as well as one passenger in the Camaro were sent to Ryder Trauma Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. The four other passengers in the Camaro were sent to Jackson Memorial Hospital ER. 

Officials are investigating how the collision occurred.
