MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) — Miami Gardens police are hoping the public will help them with clues to find the people responsible for a double murder.
Relatives said the bodies of 70-year-old minister Annette Anderson and her 20-year-old grandson Tyrone Walker, Jr. were found Tuesday inside Anderson’s residence along Northwest 207th Street and 36th Avenue. The elder victim’s son discovered the pair after a neighbor could not reach the older victim on the phone.
Carolyn Walker, Anderson’s daughter, and her husband, Tyrone Walker, Sr., sent their son from Jacksonville to Miami Gardens to pursue a college degree in computer engineering. “How could you do this to an innocent elderly lady and a young man you didn’t even know?” Walker said.
Anderson was a minister at Jesus People Ministries in Miami Gardens. On Tuesday nights, Anderson would usually be holding Bible studies in her home.
If you have any information on this double murder, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
