PLANTATION, Fla. (WSVN) — One person was injured after a flash fire ignited following a gas leak in Plantation, Tuesday.
Plantation Fire Rescue rushed to the scene of the leak at Southwest 53rd Avenue and Fourth Court.
According to officials, one of the kitchen cabinets caught fire after gas residue from a burner ignited.
The person injured was transported to Plantation General Hospital with minor burns.
The gas leak has since been contained.
