PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A plane with engine trouble has made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport. One passenger has been hospitalized after reporting chest pains.

Police say the United Express aircraft had 77 people aboard and was on its way from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Newark, New Jersey.

The plane diverted to Philadelphia after experiencing mechanical problems and touched down Tuesday afternoon.

Police say no other injuries have been reported.

The cause of the problem is under investigation.

United Express is a regional branch of United Airlines, whose parent company is Chicago-based United Continental Holdings Inc. The airline hasn’t responded to a request for comment.
