Nothing says Miami like a beef patty in between two slices of fried plantain. Now this and other very Miami creations are making their way to Broward.
Pincho Factory has become a staple of the 305. Now the restaurant’s heading to the 954 with their first ever franchise in Pembroke Pines.
Nedal Ahmad: "Currently, this is the only store in Broward. We definitely expect to place a lot more stores here in the county."
For those in Broward who don’t know Pincho Factory, here’s how the owner describes it.
Nedal Ahmad: "It’s burgers and kebabs. We only have four proteins; you can put them in pita wraps, rice bowls or salads. It’s a fast, casual gastropub with a great beer selection and great food."
The food? Middle Eastern meets Latin, and at the same time, it’s so Miami.
Here’s an example.
Nedal Ahmad: "Our most famous burger, the Toston Burger, where we sandwich it between two plantains as the buns. It’s one of our top sellers."
There’s loaded hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches.
Nedal Ahmad: "I’m a little biased, but our chicken sandwiches are some of the best in town."
There’s addicting sweet potato tots.
Nedal Ahmad: "The apple butter with the sweet potato is just the perfect combination."
A bunch of yummy salads.
Nedal Ahmad: "In particularly, the Chicken California Salad, it’s got a lot of freshness, got some mandarin oranges in there, toasted almonds that we roast here in-house, cranberries and mango dressing that we make here as well. Very popular amongst our guests."
And, of course, the owner’s favorite.
Nedal Ahmad: "Our Steak Pita Fresco, which little known fact on our story, was the dish that started the entire conversation on our concept."
To wash it all down, 12 to 14 different craft beers.
Nedal Ahmad: "We also have our own beer, but it’s brewed locally and it’s called the 627, named after the $6.27 I had left in my bank account after pouring my life savings into this company."
