SUNRISE, Fla. (WSVN) — An officer wound up involved in an accident while trying to help catch a man.
Police spotted that man, Friday afternoon, wanted on several warrants, when he ran off.
The officer and another driver involved in the crash, along Northwest 15th Street and 58th Avenue, were taken to the hospital.
The suspect is still on the run.
