CUTLER BAY, Fla. (WSVN) — A caretaker accused of leaving two children home alone has accepted a plea deal.

Andrew Sepulveda pleaded guilty to two counts of child neglect. In exchange, he was sentenced to 10 years probation and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution.

Sepulveda left a Cutler Bay home to run an errand when the home caught fire back in March.

Both a 4- and 7-year-old were hospitalized but later recovered from their injuries.
