MIAMI (WSVN) — NASA released new pictures, Friday, that show different moons in the solar system.
They captured images of Saturn’s icy moon during a fly-by Thursday. The spacecraft passed by at 1,200 miles about the surface of the moon.
Another fly-by is expected to happen later this month at an even closer range.
Another image gave viewers a better look at Pluto and one of its moons. One of the images showed part of the dwarf planet called "the heart," an area the space agency said is rich in nitrogen, carbon monoxide and methane ice. The other picture also showed pluto’s largest moon, Charon.
