MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Fla. (WSVN) — A South Florida airport is unveiling a new program to welcome international travelers.
Miami International Airport unveiled a program, officials said, that will work to improve the experience within the international terminal.
The instillation includes new billboards with inspiring messages. Officials also want to provide a warm and seamless arrival experience from the point of landing to the baggage claim. "Whether we spend $100 or $100 million, if we don’t reach out to the world and let them know they’re welcome and thank them, we’re wasting our money," said Brand USA President and CEO Christopher Thompson.
MIA is the number two airport in the country for international passengers.
