MIAMI (WSVN) — McDonald’s is testing out garlic fries at select locations across the world after it quickly sold out at four San Francisco stores.
The fast-food chain introduced garlic fries as part of their plan to introduce new items this year.
The fries sold out in a matter of days at restaurants around San Francisco.
“In less than two weeks, our small, four-restaurant test of Gilroy Garlic Fries has been a huge success, and we are now experiencing a temporary shortage of supplies,” McDonald’s told SFGate.
It is unclear when we will see garlic fries as a permanent menu item in restaurants in South Florida, but with it’s high demand, it may not be long.
