WSVN — Farmers markets aren’t the only places to shop local. In tonight’s Style File, 7’s Belkys Nerey shows us how culinary stores are gaining ground with the gourmets.

Food lover, wine snob, wannabe chef; whatever you call yourself, Flavorish Market” in Miami’s Upper Eastside will be your new go-to place.

Jennifer Frehling, Co-owner, Flavorish Market: “We try to be a local hub for foodies.”

The new specialty shop feels like a mix of San Fran’ and SoHo, but also stays true to its 3-0-5 roots.

Jennifer Frehling: “We have a lot of local products. That’s become a big focus in people’s minds.”

From jams to spreads to truffles, gourmet chefs will love the curated products from all over the world.

Jessica Pfeffer: “They’ve got everything in here that you could ever ask for.”

Don’t cook? No problem. Stop by Flavorish and pick up some of their yummy pre-made meals. Take it home, take it out of the containers and pretend like you made it yourself.

Jennifer Frehling: “We have a whole selection of prepared foods. They are prepared by Ken Lyon. We have Zac the Baker, bread delivered fresh every morning. We have beautiful empanadas made by a local Argentinean chef.”

There are unique gifts sprinkled throughout the store, especially for the wine lovers in your life.

Jenna Robinson: “I like to focus on specialty wines, things that you can’t get at your local supermarket.”

Don’t miss their free wine tastings with Jenna Robinson.

Jenna Robinson: “We do wine tastings every other Friday night, free of charge.”

For more fabulous finds, drop by Thousand Pound Egg in Fort Lauderdale. This culinary apothecary is the perfect spot for people who love to cook, eat and entertain.

Karen Gavrilov, Owner, Thousand Pound Egg: “If it’s really good and it’s local, I’ve probably got it here. But I also have stuff from all over the country that sort of stands out in its category.”

Owner Karen Gavrilov is always eager to let you sample one of her latest culinary treasures, anything from chocolates, cookies, cucumber sodas to vinegars.

Daphne Sullivan: “I love to buy things that I can’t find at the local supermarket.”

For the hard-to-buy-for person in your life, choose from a mix of old and new trinkets, entertaining tools and loads of vintage cookbooks.

Karen Gavrilov: “This is a James Beard cookbook. It’s signed, and it’s from 1948. For the collector.”

Lisa Pumper: “There is a lot of uniqueness here. I enjoy it for myself, but I also enjoy sharing what I find here with others.”

There’s even a pop-up shop within the store called “Three Minute Egg” for the fashionistas.

Karen Gavrilov: “Clothing, local jewelry designers, just little finds.”

Once again, you won’t want to miss all the events at Flavorish Market. They have craft beer tastings and movie nights, where they show foodie flicks and serve a great meal.
