WSVN — Unused marinade can take on a new life. Chef Alex Becker says some can make great salad dressing.
Chef Alex Becker: "If we take these ingredients afterwards, you've really developed a lot of beautiful flavors in here. We'll thin it out with a little bit of oil and add some aromatics to it and it's phenomenal on any salad dressing."
Just add diced ginger or garlic and some oil, like sesame or olive oil.
Chef Alex Becker: "Once it emulsifies a little bit, then you have a very nice dressing for any salad that you're working on."
Spoon it on and give it a toss and you've got a whole new creation. You'll never throw out unused marinade again.
