Miami’s Wynwood Yard will be closed Tuesday due to the recent announcement of new cases of Zika discovered in the area.
The Wynwood Yard is one of the first businesses to announce a closure due to Zika.
The Yard is an outdoor venue that hosts classes, live entertainment along with food and drinks.
The closing was announced on Facebook, Tuesday: “The Yard will be closed in order to better assess preparedness and in an abundance of caution, until we have more information, in order to make sure we are providing the most comfortable and secure environment we possibly can to our team and guests.”
The Wynwood Yard is located at 56 N.W. 29th St. in Miami.
Scheduled classes will be rescheduled. No other businesses in the area have announced any closures.
