MIAMI (WSVN) — A construction worker was found unconscious on the 12th floor of a building under construction, Tuesday morning.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, several workers saw a man go unconscious at a construction site located along Northeast 4th Avenue and 18th Street and called 911.
Once Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials located the man, they had to use a crane to lower him to ground level since the elevator for the construction site only reached the sixth floor and the stairs were unacceptable.
He was treated by paramedics and then transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Normal operations were allowed to resume at the construction site.
