SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A woman was walking near Dadeland Mall in Kendall, Thursday morning, when she was suddenly struck in the head — but not by a vehicle.
According to Miami-Dade Police, police officers responded to an injured woman, Thursday at around 9:30 a.m., who was struck in the head by a man along US-1 and Kendall Drive. The subject then fled the scene.
She was transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a hospital with head injuries.
Officials have issued a BOLO (“Be On The Lookout”) for a subject described as a white male who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing all blue.
