ORANGE CITY, Fla. (WSVN) — It might be the most Florida picture ever.
Dana Menk said she visited Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, located between Orlando and Daytona Beach. That’s when she spotted an alligator that appeared to be hitching a ride on a manatee.
Menk posted the photo to Florida Fish & Wildlife’s Facebook page, where the picture quickly went viral.
However, wildlife officials said the gator most likely just swam over the manatee, rather than riding on it. We prefer to think he was surfing.
