(WSVN) - The U.S. Coast Guard found a boater alive who went missing on Sunday.
Juan Gonzales, 54, was found off the coast of Jupiter, Wednesday morning.
He was reported missing after he was last seen leaving Bimini on his 22-foot boat.
According to Gonzales, he had run out of fuel.
When officials found him, his stepson, who is not a U.S. citizen, was also on board.
The coast guard said they are investigating if Gonzales was trying to smuggle him into the U.S.
