MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - Three teenagers were transported to the hospital after a shooting erupted in Miami Gardens, Thursday afternoon.

According to Miami Gardens Police, the shooting took place at around 1:30 p.m., in broad daylight, along Northwest 46th Avenue and Northwest 191st Terrace.

Once officials arrived at the scene, the subject responsible had fled. It is unclear whether the subject got away in a vehicle or on foot.

Cellphone video captured one of the apparent victims telling police and paramedics that he had been shot.

It is unclear if there was an intended target. “I was just in my kitchen and bullets just started flying in my house, and I grabbed my baby, and I covered her up,” said a witness. “They came through my door — my front door — my living room wall, everywhere. Scared me to death.”

All three victims were transported to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
