WEST PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - A 16-month-old boy was rushed to the hospital after, officials said, he was pulled unresponsive from a pool in West Park, Saturday afternoon.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the scene of the near drowning on the 3800 block of Southwest 33rd Street, at around 2:45 p.m. Officials said the boy was pulled from a kiddie pool at the end of a waterslide.
He was transported to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in serious condition.
