MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - A toddler is now safe after he was found wandering the streets of Miami Beach, Saturday morning.
Authorities said the child somehow got out of an apartment while his caretaker was sleeping.
A good Samaritan called police as the 2-year-old walked down Bay Road, near 16th Street. “We tried looking for where he lived, see if he had any recognition where he’d point, but he was scared around all these police officers and not seeing mommy. He was afraid,” said Jessi Davidson.
Investigators determined that the child’s mother was at work during the incident.
Child Services has taken temporary custody of the child pending an investigation.
