Three dogs rescued from house fire in Plantation

PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) - Three dogs have been rescued from a home in Plantation that caught fire, Monday afternoon.

According to Plantation Fire Rescue, the flames ignited inside a home, located at 725 Orchid Drive, in a neighborhood west of the Turnpike and South of Sunrise Boulevard.

SkyForceHD flew over the scene where thick black smoke was seen coming out of a hole in the roof of the home.

It remains unknown how the fire started.

The dogs are expected to be OK.
