FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - The Weeknd has just announced his new world tour, Starboy: Legend of the Fall 2017 World Tour, and the Starboy singer will be making a stop in South Florida.

The singer announced his new tour on Twitter, Monday, where he will be making two Florida stops. The first stop will be on May 11 at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, and the second stop will be on May 12 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.

 

The tour kicks off in Stockholm on Feb. 17. and will head to North America in April through June of 2017.

But this isn’t the first time the R&B singer has performed in SoFlo. The Weeknd brought the tour supporting his album “Beauty Behind the Madness” to Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Dec. 19. in 2015.

The tour may be next year, but it’s never too early to get tickets! We’ll keep you updated on when and where to get tickets for The Weeknd as soon as that information is released to the public.
