FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - The 17-year-old twins who allegedly helped Dayont’e Resiles escape from the Broward County Courthouse in July will be tried as adults, according to prosecutors.
Kretron and Tre’von Barnes will be transferred from juvenile detention to Broward County Jail now that they are being tried as adults, according to officials.
Prosecutors said the twins, along with six others, helped their cousin, murder defendant Resiles, escape from the courthouse in July.

Resiles escaped from his handcuffs and left the Broward County Courthouse on July 15, spurring a week-long search by law enforcement that ended when he was captured in a motel in West Palm Beach.
