PARKLAND, FLA. (WSVN) - Surveillance cameras captured the moment a man stole a purse at a Parkland gas station.
Footage shows the victim with her attention turned to the pump when the subject pulled up. The driver stepped out of the vehicle, crept toward the victim’s unlocked SUV before opening the door and grabbing her purse from inside.
He then got back into his car and drove off. Meanwhile, the victim never seemed to notice the act.
The theft took place at the Chevron on North State Road 7, just north of Hillsboro Boulevard, on Sept. 26.
Police are searching for a silver four-door Toyota Camry with dark tints.
