CORAL GABLES, FLA. (WSVN) - A South Florida man will be facing a judge, three years after a cosmetic procedure turned deadly.
Jose Robusto has been placed on house arrest as he waits to stand trial for charges of manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license.
Prosecutors said the 43-year-old gave a patient a butt lift injection, in April 2013. That person later died.
The victim’s blood work revealed large amounts of industrial silicone, which is used in electronics, glass and cement.
