CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. (WSVN) - We’re halfway through Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and one South Florida organization is stepping up to make a difference.

The Not My Daughter … Find a Cure Now! Foundation held its 7th Annual Shopping Boutique and Luncheon, Monday afternoon.

The foundation is known for bringing women of all generations together for a common purpose. “What unites us is our determination to make a difference together,” said Founder and Chairwoman, Denyse Hostig. “The future depends on our action, and Not My Daughter … Find a Cure Now! is proud to be part of the effort to raise funds and awareness to end cancer before it impacts future generations.”

The sold-out event was held at the Heron Bay Marriot in Coral Springs. With nearly 700 people in attendance, all proceeds will go towards cancer research charities, PAP Corps and Susan G. Komen.

The volunteer-based organization has successfully raised over $400,000 to support the fight against breast cancer.
