SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A man was arrested after, authorities said, shots were fired in the parking lot of Miami Southridge High School during a pre-season football game, Friday night.
According to Miami-Dade Public Schools Police, an adult male who is not a student at either school playing in the game fired the shots in the parking lot.
Witnesses said he pulled a gun after a fistfight broke out during the fourth quarter, leading to the gunman opening fire. Police confirmed that several shots were fired during the fourth quarter.
Witnesses took to social media to post photos and videos of the scene.

Players were told to lie down on the field until officers got a handle on the situation
One witness told 7News that a bullet hit a car.
No one was injured.
Miami Southridge was playing against South Plantation High School in Friday’s game.
Police did not release the name of the person they took into custody. It is unclear if a weapon was recovered.
