FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - The State Attorney’s Office, Wednesday, dropped sexual battery charges against a probation officer who was accused of raping a parolee.
Probation officer Zachary Bailey was accused of raping a parolee during a visit to her Coral Springs home in March of 2015.
The case was scheduled to go to trial next week, but the State Attorney dropped it due to inconsistencies between the victim’s statements and the evidence.
