MIAMI (WSVN) - Royal Caribbean has received permission to build a new cruise terminal at Port Miami.

The Miami-Dade Commission voted in approval of the request, Wednesday.

The cruise line is hoping to accommodate its largest ships, the 5,400 passenger Oasis class.

The construction of the terminal, nicknamed the Crown of Miami, is expected to create more than 4,000 jobs.
