NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A grocery store chain is feeding a need in South Florida.
Publix Super Market Charities is donating $200,000 to the hunger relief organization Feeding South Florida. They also delivered 21 pallets of food to those in need in Northwest Miami-Dade, Friday.
The financial donation is part of Publix’s annual $5 million contribution to the Feeding America network.
Feeding South Florida is the leading food bank in the area.
