COOPER CITY, FLA. (WSVN) - Officials responded to the scene of a vehicle crash where the driver struck a tree in Cooper City, Tuesday night.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue, the 50-year-old driver was traveling along the 9400 block of Stirling Road, near Cooper City High School, when he struck a fence before hitting a palm tree.

Officials took about 25 minutes to remove the driver from his Porsche.

He was airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital in serious condition.
