Fort Lauderdale Police were searching for a 3-year-old girl who, they said, went missing, Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials, the toddler was last seen at a home at 2221 N.W. 29th Terrace.
A spokesperson for Fort Lauderdale Police tell 7News that the girl was later found with her grandfather. The mother didn’t realize that he took her to an appointment with him. It appears to be a miscommunication between the family.
The search has been called off.
