PEMBROKE PINES, FLA. (WSVN) - Police have released surveillance pictures of a man who, they said, broke into and robbed a school in Pembroke Pines, last month.

According to investigators, the burglar targeted West Broward High School, located near Johnson Street and Northwest 209th Avenue, Sept. 23, just before 2 a.m.

Police said the subject broke into the school by forcibly opening a door on the first floor. He then entered several classrooms and removed items such as three cameras and candy.

Investigators said he then fled the scene in a white, four-door, older model Ford Taurus.

Detectives said the perpetrator is between 18 and 25 years old, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and has blond hair. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt and blue jeans.
