HOMESTEAD, FLA. (WSVN) - Police have arrested a South Florida man who they are calling a violent serial rapist.
According to Miami-Dade Police, 23-year-old Anthony Jimenez has been charged on multiple counts of sexual battery in three different cases.
A police report revealed that Jimenez allegedly invited a woman to her bedroom, on Aug. 19, so he can possibly rent it out to her. Once inside the bedroom, Jimenez pulled out his penis and said “I’m going to [expletive] you” to the woman.
According to the arrest report, the victim, whose age was not revealed, began screaming before Jimenez allegedly punched her in the face and ribs. The victim told police she was screaming and banging on a window before Jimenez fled on foot.
A second police report discloses that, in a separate incident, on July 2, Jimenez followed an 18-year-old woman from Leisure Park, located in Homestead. The woman said Jimenez punched her and pushed her to the ground when she ignored him.
The victim told police she was forced to remove his shorts and perform sexual acts and raped her. Jimenez allegedly threatened to hit the victim again if she did not give up her money. At least $140 in cash was stolen from her purse before he fled the scene, according to police.
In a third incident, on May 30, police said Jimenez invited a 16-year-old who had ran away from her home to his house. The arrest affidavit disclosed that Jimenez instead led her to an abandoned home.
The victim said she was punched in the face and forced to engage in sexual intercourse, while screaming and asking for help. A neighbor then called police where they found the victim in the bushes, police said.
Jimenez was arrested on scene and charged with multiple counts of sexual battery and burglary charges. He remains behind bars with a bail set at $103,500.
It’s unclear if he has hired an attorney.
