MIAMI (WSVN) - Police are investigating after a woman was shot and killed in Miami.
Miami Police units were dispatched to the scene along Northwest Third Avenue and 14th Street, just before 7 a.m., Monday.
When officers arrived, they discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was said to be on her way to work when she was involved in a crash.
According to officials, the driver of the other vehicle then got out of their car and began shooting at the victim.
Miami Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where she later died.
Officials continue to investigate.
